MAULE
Curicó, Maule, Linares, Cauquenes

The Central Valley continues to the South through the Maule Region, where the Andes soften into large, wide valleys ideal for growing quality fruit. Rainfall here is abundant with foggy mornings in the summer. This means that very few table grapes and stone fruit varieties are grown in the Maule Region. However it is renowned for the quality of its apples, kiwifruits, pears and berries.

The climate here is colder than in the northern growing regions. Wider temperature fluctuations ensure that the fruit has excellent colour.
