ASOEX began to promote in Mexico
and Colombia in 2002 under the so-called programme
“Descubra los sabores de Chile”
(Discover the flavors of Chile).
In 2004 a TV commercial, "Centuries"
was aired in Guadalajara, Mexico.
The message within both campaigns was targeted
at the business and domestic consumer, including
importers, traditional retailers (public markets
and popular fairs) and supermarket chains.
Their basic goals are to increase
the market penetration of Chilean fruit, to
underpin trade within the Mexican market, to
generate recognition of our fresh fruit’s
image and to consolidate Chile’s reputation
as a quality supplier.
